After a wordwide search, Brit actor Andrew Garfield has been selected to play Peter Parker in the latest Spider-Man reboot. Garfield's considerably short career of 5 years has already seen him work with some of the biggest name in showbiz including Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep (Lions for Lambs) and even David Fincher ('The Social Network' - coming soon).

The latest Spiderman reboot will be in 3D and directed by Marc Webb ((500) Days of Summer).

The first film in the reboot will be released in 2012.
